Kindness requires us to be selfless. When choosing kindness, we are forced to let go of our self-appointed expectations, need to control everything and everyone around us, and "stinking thinking" regarding others and ourselves. We've heard the commercial slogan "Kind never has to apologize". When we find ourselves having to apologize to others or thinking that we need to, maybe its time to check our kindness meter because we can never change what we don't acknowledge. Self-evaluate and change are the action words that help to catapult progression.
